Professional Experience
Dhyana received her undergraduate degree from Penn State University in Crime, Law and Justice. She attended New York Law School, graduating in 2012 with her Juris Doctor. During law school, her focus was on intellectual property law, including her participation in an advertising job-track program and an internship with the National Advertising Division of the Better Business Bureaus, where she assisted in reviewing national advertising and drafting decisions relating to the credibility of specific advertisements.
After law school, Dhyana took a hiatus from the legal profession, and was selected to become a corps member with Teach For America, spending four years teaching students in a low-income community in San Antonio, Texas.
After moving back to New York, Dhyana joined Jackson Bergman LLP in August of 2016, first as a law clerk while awaiting her bar exam results, and then as an attorney after being admitted to the New York State Bar in January of 2017.
At Jackson Bergman, Dhyana works on matrimonial, family and criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors to felonies. In addition, she was recently appointed as a special prosecutor on an attempted murder case, and secured a conviction against the defendant.
